I help businesses to

  • Build a consistent outbound rhythm
  • Reduce reliance on referrals
  • Create a proactive route to market
  • Improve targeting, messaging and sales confidence
  • Reach the right decision-makers
  • Join up LinkedIn, email, phone, events and content
  • Make prospecting more sustainable
  • Write outreach that feels relevant rather than generic
  • Improve follow-up so more conversations progress

This includes

  • Defining ICPs, territories and target accounts
  • Representing your business through LinkedIn and email
  • Planning and running LinkedIn, email and multi-touch outreach campaigns
  • Researching and mapping high-value target accounts
  • Writing personalised outreach for priority prospects
  • Managing inboxes, follow-up and objections
  • Booking meetings and coordinating diaries
  • Tracking pipeline and nurturing prospects in your CRM
  • Feeding prospect insight back into marketing, messaging and positioning

My approach

A few well-written messages are not enough to build a pipeline. Effective outbound needs consistent activity across the right channels: LinkedIn, email, phone, events and content engagement.

My approach is to use brief, direct outreach that gives the prospect a clear reason to engage. Good outbound should make it obvious why someone is being approached, why now, and why the conversation could be useful to them.

I believe outbound works best when volume is paired with relevance, restraint and good judgement. Every interaction should offer genuine value, not simply add to the number of messages people receive.

Where it makes sense to share something useful, I prefer to ask permission before sending links or material. I am also careful with assumptions, especially when there is a risk of sounding like I know more about the prospect’s situation than I really do.

Case Studies
Case Study: Embedded outbound support for Torchbox+

Growth need: New Business Strategy, Outbound, RevOps

The challenge

Digital agency, Torchbox, needed new business support across its charity and public sector propositions. Although the business had strong sector credibility, valuable marketing activity, a growing CRM database and senior people involved in sales conversations, it had limited internal capacity to prospect, qualify and nurture opportunities consistently.

My role

I worked as an embedded part of the new business team, combining research-led outbound, CRM re-engagement, MQL follow-up, meeting preparation and post-meeting nurture.

This included identifying and approaching high-value prospects, supporting event and webinar campaigns, making better use of tools such as Lemlist, and introducing a more structured lead management process so opportunities did not depend solely on senior leadership capacity.

Results

The work generated a high volume of qualified prospect conversations across charity and public sector organisations, including engagements with organisations such as National Trust, WWF, Cancer Research UK, NHS Wales, Marie Curie, English Heritage, Canal & River Trust, Alzheimer's Research UK, Oxfam, Macmillan, Save the Children, WaterAid, Guide Dogs, RSPCA, Amnesty International, Citizens Advice and British Red Cross.

The activity contributed to a proposal pipeline of £463,700 across confirmed, active and late-stage opportunities spanning digital marketing, accessibility, website technology and wider digital transformation projects.

“Chris has been awesome to work with. He is proactive, resilient, and pragmatic - three of the key traits I think are crucial in a new business person. Chris takes advantage of all the latest tools to be as efficient and effective as possible and has generated countless great opportunities with new potential clients over the past year. He's also opened up conversations with target clients that could lead to big contracts further down the line.”Will, New Business Director, Torchbox
Case Study: Flexible new business support for Nalla+

Growth need: Outbound, New Business Strategy, RevOps

The challenge

Brand and digital agency Nalla needed flexible new business support that could adapt around budget, internal capacity and the level of sales support required.
The business wanted a broader and more consistent way to generate opportunities, without committing to a fixed full-time model.

My role

I supported Nalla across prospecting, meeting booking, lead qualification, CRM management and pipeline support.

Alongside direct outbound, we developed a strategic lead magnet to give prospects a clearer reason to engage. This helped move outreach away from a purely cold sales approach and towards a more value-led conversation.

I worked alongside a business partner with a complementary skillset, combining LinkedIn prospecting, email, phone, nurture, CRM management and pitch support across multiple channels.

Results

Over a three-month period, the activity generated:

  • 1,355 LinkedIn connection requests
  • 442 new LinkedIn connections
  • 200 replies from new prospects
  • 13 meetings attended and 3 scheduled
  • More than £200k in new business pipeline

The work helped Nalla create a more systematic new business motion, combining clearer targeting, stronger messaging, lead magnets, multi-channel outreach and consistent follow-up.

“Despite only working with Chris for a short time, he has already been instrumental in helping us break into a new niche target market with a strategic and systematic approach to new business.

He was able to understand our agency positioning quickly and has the ability to identify the right prospects based on truly understanding our objectives and target personas, crafting engaging tailored outreach campaigns to the right decision-makers. This has already generated meetings and conversations with the right people in the short time we’ve been working together.

Chris is highly approachable and brings clear advice which I trust and a methodical approach to business development. His strategic thinking, proactivity, and deep understanding of new business have made him a valuable extension of our team.”Vicki, Founder, Nalla
