I usually work with clients in one of two ways: monthly retained support or project-based work.
Monthly support is best when the business needs consistent help with activity, follow-up and pipeline development over time. Project-based work is better when there is a specific new business challenge to solve or asset to build.
Pricing is agreed privately based on scope, level of support and time required.
Monthly retained support
Ongoing support for agencies and B2B service businesses that need consistent help building and managing pipeline.
This can include:
- Outbound prospecting.
- Inbound lead follow-up.
- Meeting booking.
- Lead qualification.
- CRM management.
- Nurture activity.
- Proposal and pitch support.
- Pipeline review.
- Founder or senior team support.
Monthly support is usually capped at an agreed number of days per month, depending on the scope and level of support required.
A minimum three-month engagement is usually most effective, as new business activity needs time to build momentum, test messaging, follow up properly and turn early conversations into live opportunities.
Project-based work
Defined support for a specific new business outcome.
This can include:
- Business development strategy.
- CRM implementation.
- CRM data clean-up.
- Sales process review.
- Prospecting set-up.
- Value ladder development.
- Event traction planning.
- Outreach campaign build.
- Lead magnet or audit proposition development.
Project-based work is useful when the business needs to get the right structure, process or campaign in place before increasing activity.
